The Rapallo Theatre will show films to serve as the community's favorite "art house" theatre. The sound, room acoustics and image quality will meet the highest standards. This technology will allow us to feature both contemporary and historical works with both international and national film including timeless classic presented at annual festivals, a series or “one night only” events such as:

The Rapallo Theatre will provide opportunities for a multitude of local partnerships.

 

An excellent model of this synergy in the 500-seat Diana Worham Theatre (Asheville, NC), presenting nationally touring artists as well as working with professional and avocational regional arts groups.

Outdoor Stage and Street Festival Programming

The Art District outdoor stage and themed festivals will provide endless opportunities for collaboration.

Two excellent models of this are the Entertainment Pavilion in Delray Beach, FL and the Palace Theatre in Grapevine, Texas offering these events:

Kid’s Day at the Tree - A day of activities, food and entertainment for the entire family.

Delray Beach Garlic Fest A three-day Garlic extravaganza focusing on gourmet food, national act entertainment, family fun, cooking and eating GARLIC!

Asian Food Fair & Cultural Show - A unique festival offering continuous live Asian music and dance, arts & crafts, costumes, merchant area and food.

Circle on the Square Food and Wine Tasting Soiree - Samplings of culinary delights, an extensive wine and beer tasting and fabulous Blues entertainment.

Cinco de Mayo Fiesta – A family event offering live music, food, vendors and traditional dancing.

Chocolate Festival – A day of Chocolate and Art featuring chocolates, cooking demonstrations, live jazz and art exhibits.

Christmas On Main Street - Downtown Grapevine converts to a winter wonderland for the holiday season featuring bands playing holiday music and screenings of holiday film classics.
